The end of the workday routine

The alarm goes off at the usual time. The kids head off to school and your partner heads off to the regular work environment. You – proud new home business owner – are suddenly left in a quiet house. It doesn’t feel like a work day. It feels a bit disorienting, actually. Why?

5 OHL Alumni Playing For AHL’s Portland Pirates

The Portland Pirates are the AHL affiliate of the NHL’s Buffalo Sabres. This past season, 2009-10, five Ontario Hockey League alumni played for the Pirates. Despite finishing fifth in the American Hockey League during the regular season, Portland was swept in the first round of the AHL playoffs by Manchester.

Mike Weber was picked in the second round by the Sabres in 2006 draft. He has played a total of 23 games with the NHL club since entering the world of professional hockey in 2007. However, Mike played the complete 2009-10 season with the Pirates. Mike played four seasons in the OHL from 2003-04 to 2006-07. His first three seasons were played with the Windsor Spitfires while his fourth and final season was split, 30 games apiece, between the Spitfires and the Barrie Colts.

Cody McCormick played four seasons in the OHL with the Belleville Bulls from 1999-00 to 2002-03. Drafted by the Colorado Avalanche in 2001, Cody played in 190 games with the NHL

Catching Up With the Nhl

I live in Canada, so I am surrounded by a skewed awareness of the NHL. It is a condition of citizenship here that you are able to discuss the power play woes of teams, the playoff prospects of the nearest squad, and the injuries that are keeping Canadian stars out of action, even if you are far from a hockey fan. I know, and frankly I’m thankful, that the rest of the world isn’t obsessed with hockey like my fellow Canadians are. Despite that, though, hockey games have two teams and you can bet on them, so they are at least worth a little attention. If you haven’t been watching the NHL much this year here are 10 things you need to know to get up to speed with what is going on. Happy betting, eh!

1) Home is sweet. Road? Not so much – There are some teams with ridiculous differences in their performance home and away. The most glaring is Minnesota. They have the third best home record in the league, and the second worst on the road.

Watch Olympic Hockey Canada Vs Germany Online

It is well know that hockey is one of the most watched events at the Winter Olympics. This year is no different. Millions of people will tune in to WorldwideTVonPC.com to watch the game between Canada and Germany to see who will play Russia in the Quarter Finals. The loser will go home without a medal, and without their dignity.

Many people were shocked when they saw that Team USA beat Team Canada in the preliminary round at the 2010 Vancouver Olympic Games. USA goaltender Ryan Miller gave a steady performance and shut down the Canadians. The Canadian goaltender Martin Brodeur wasn’t as successful against the Americans and let in 4 goals, a few of which were questionable. Team Canada has one last chance to reclaim it’s pride in hometown Vancouver as they play Team Germany, who also have a few Nhlers on their roster.
